Ventnor Resources listed on the ASX in February 2011 after raising $6,000,000. Ventnor’s projects are at various stages, from advanced exploration to greenfields and are sufficiently prospective to warrant modern exploration.
The Biranup Project is located north of AngloGold Ashanti and Independence Group’s Tropicana Gold Mine in the Albany-Fraser Belt. Ventnor has identified encouraging gold and copper-nickel prospects at Black Dragon, Fire Dragon, Silver Dragon and Red Dragon. Recently the company has applied for more adjacent ground east of Tropicana with a combined contiguous holding of 340 km2.
The Company has recently added a portfolio of high quality silica sands projects in the North Perth Basin. The tenements are prospective for high-quality silica sand that can be used in glassmaking, construction sand as well as proppants used in oil exploration.
The Ventnor Board possesses a wide range of technical and corporate skill and the appropriate management and technical experience to manage the planned exploration programs at Biranup Project and on its other silica sands properties.
Mission and Objectives
Ventnor’s mission is to maximise shareholder returns through the discovery of economic mineral deposits and the development of profitable mining operations.
The Company’s focus is on the implementation of modern exploration techniques and systematic and cost-effective exploration programs on our existing mining tenements. We will also evaluate and potentially participate in other prospective mining projects that have the potential to contribute to future growth.
